Good Day,

My name is Heather Bove (pronounced Bovay) and I retired from the United States Coast Guard after 21 years of service. I joined at the age of 18 years old, two days after I graduated from high school. I am from a very small town called Keytesville, Missouri. When I look back on my career, I can honestly say that joining the military was one of the best decisions I could have made. I was stationed in many different states, including California, Oregon, Florida, Hawaii, Alaska, North Carolina, and Virginia. I am also considered a "mustang", which means I started as an enlisted member and was eventually promoted to the officer ranks where I finished out my career.

I have an amazing husband named Brandon and three beautiful children named Gabriel, Gavin, and Genevieve. Yes, even our dog has a G name (Gracie). We love living here in beautiful southwest Florida and being closer to family.

I look forward to this next school year and having the opportunity to be the Senior Naval Science instructor for the NJROTC program.
