Greetings Fighting Tarpons,

This year I'm thrilled to be working with students in our CTE Department as a Digital Design teacher. Digital Design 1, 2 & 3 are classes where students will learn to use apps from Adobe, like Photoshop & Illustrator, to make and do amazing things -- both on and off the computer. This has been a passion of mine since the 1900s when I was first introduced to computer editing in the library in my own high school.

In my past 24 years as a high school teacher, I've taught many types of classes, but almost always Digital Design -- since this is a favorite! I've continued to learn and explore digital editing as both a teacher and an artist. Currently, I sell my designs online and work with clients to create content for their brands -- including web design, logos, photography, and even a bit of drone footage (something we definitely DID NOT have in my high school library back in Minot, North Dakota!). I'm excited to share my love for learning with my students as they work toward skills in design.

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy being outside, DIY, cooking, thrifting & spending time with my family & friends.
