Welcome back to another school year!!!!!

The 2024-2025 school year will be an amazing year!

As you can see, the unit garden is up and running with a new irrigation system and beds that are waiting for fruits and veggies to get planted! We're not done with the structure of some planting structures, but I wanted to share with you what has happened over the summer. 

This year, all the unit classroom teachers and students will work together to keep the garden going. We will share in the labor of love and enjoy the fruits (and veggies) of that labor. Our hope is, that this will bring all the unit students together in an untraditional, academic setting, allowing them to be free to communicate and work together in a student-led manner. This will help them take ownership of the garden that they are creating and feel more responsible and invested in its success.

More to come as the year has just started.
