I have been the proud band director at Ainger now for eighteen great years!  I love our students, parents, and the community. This year, I will be teaching two beginning bands, an intermediate band, an advanced band, a percussion ensemble, and a jazz band. 

I'm an active member of the  and the . I currently serve as FBA's Middle School All-State Jazz Coordinator. In 2015, I was recognized as the Charlotte County Teacher of the Year. I play saxophone and bassoon professionally, but don't be surprised to see me playing just about any instrument!

Privately, my wife, Mrs. Ostrow, teaches Digital Design at the CTC in Port Charlotte. Together we have two beautiful boys and a dog named "Bacon". Life is good!
