    Q. Do students have the opportunity to make up work that would have been turned in during the hurricane week.

    1. We are extending the grading period one week, with a new deadline for 1st quarter grades of October 18th.  This will give students the opportunity to complete and turn in any missed work, tests or projects from the 1st quarter that they otherwise would have turned in last week.

    Q. How can students, parents, and staff connect with needed post-hurricane resources  (counseling services, transportation needs, etc)?

    1. Parents/Guardians and Staff should refer to the Hurricane Milton Resources & Survey sent via e-mail and Facebook on October 14th. Students can always ask any school staff member for assistance. Students will then be directed to a member of the School Based Mental Health Team who will connect them to the requested resource (School Counselor, Social Worker, and School Psychologist).

    Q. Any changes to bus stops or times?

    1. No, buses will operate on schedule.

    Q. When do middle and high school athletics restart?

    1. Middle and High School Athletics are able to resume on Monday, October 14th. Any changes to the high school game schedule will be relayed to athletes by their respective coaches.

    Q. If a student's bus route or pick-up location has changed due to the hurricane, what should they do?

    1. Any student needing a bus pass from a shelter location should be issued a TEMPORARY pass until a new permanent address can be established.  The residence address in FOCUS should NOT be updated.  If a student is temporarily residing outside of their Geo-Zone should be referred to Lisa Bratton at the FIT Office
