  • Accelerated Reader is a program used by MPE students to monitor reading progress. Each student has data that helps with their personalized reading practice.

    Students take a STAR test to establish their ZPD (reading level).  They choose books in their level according to their interests.  Students take a quiz on what they read and are celebrated with positive motivation. They receive immediate feedback from their TOPS report.  The report will show their comprehension score as well as movement toward their reading goal.

    AR quizzes can only be taken at school.
